FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The second-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks completed their regular season on Saturday afternoon, defeating the St. Thomas University Bobcats 5-2 at the NSU Tennis Complex at Rolling Hills. Prior to the match, NSU Athletics honored Natalie Espinal, Freya Davies, Lian Benedejcic, Alexandra Weir and Kayla Solagnier in a senior day ceremony.

Doubles

• Freya Davies and Natalie Espinal, the top-ranked duo in Division II doubles rankings, defeated Andres and Costa, 6-1.
• Ita Habekovic and Patricie Kubikova sealed the doubles point with a 6-3 win over Seeman and Slipchenko.

Singles

• Freya Davies was victorious over Navarro, winning 6-3, 6-4
• Lian Benedejcic defeated Andres 6-0, 6-1
• Julia Moraes earned a win over Costa, defeating her opponent 6-0, 7-5. 
• Kayla Solagnier closed out the match with a 6-4, 7-5 win over Seeman

Head Coach Doug Neagle - What a great Senior Day! The ladies really made it a special celebration for our five seniors. Topping it off with a win always helps. It's great knowing that this wasn't our last match of the year. We will have a nice two days off and then we are pumped to get back to work for our conference tournament next week.
